A season on Spike Lee films begins with an appraisal of his short run of remakes (two films in a row is a run, okay!). They are two of his worst films, so we do a special Ki-No Thanks! (our STACKS subseries on bad movies) breaking down why these don’t work. Two notable misfires from a great director, one so much so that Spike even refuses to call it a ‘Joint’, are very much worth exploring. So, maybe don’t watch them, but certainly do listen to us talk about them.
