TPIABI: 17776: An American Football Story

On July 6, 2017 an innocent little sports blogging site called SB Nation published a high-concept, multi-media sci-fi story about sentient space probes, immortality, and global warming to answer the all too pertinent question of: What will football look like in the future?

Froo and Murph travel across Jon Bois’ stagnant America, finding it existentially horrifying, irreverently funny, and deeply human. Dust off the pigskin and unpack the lunchables, dear listener, this one goes places.

Outside of the Main Topic, our Bad Idea engineers will also give thoughts on The Boys (the comic, not the show) and discuss whether a martini requires gin.
