At the start of the 2020 COVID lock-down, cartoonist Alec Robbins started a goofy little comic about his life being married to Betty Boop (yes, that Betty Boop).
Things got strange from there.
For this episode, Froo and Murph retreat into the post-COVID mind fog in order to talk about Mr. Boop in it’s entirety (read the full thing here) and how this story of boinking famous cartoon characters took the quarantined internet by storm. It’s the comic with everything: Short kings, Girl-Version Ranma, Bitter Screeds Against Copyright Law, Slow-Burn Psychological Horror, the whole shaboop!
But before you skip to the main topic, please give a listen to our other segments where Murph ponders about chainsaw enthusiasts and Froo defines the term “Selenators.”
(As a heads-up the audio quality is a bit poor in spots. God didn’t want us to make this episode and we fought her tooth and nail for it)
